Miss Trefusis In Going Solo By Roald Dahl
According to dictionary.com the definition of peculiar is, ¨strange or odd; unusual." In the memoir, Going Solo, written by Roald Dahl, Roald meets many of these peculiar people on his trip to Africa. Two of the characters were Miss Trefusis and Mdisho, who had different approaches to life. Dahl´s overall impression of these two characters are that Miss Trefusis was a germaphobe and Mdisho was fascinated by war and killing.

Dahl's overall impression of Miss Trefusis is that she is a very odd person. Dahl thinks Miss Trefusis is odd because in the text Miss Trefusis and Roald were having a conversation about how Miss Trefusis was eating her orange.
