COURSE OUTLINE
1.0 COURSE PURPOSE
This course is intended to equip the learner with knowledge and skills required in understanding business operations required in achieving the organization’s goals in the short-term and long-run.

At the end of this course, the learner should be able to:
1. identify and use appropriately the terminology of management;
2. explain the important theories and concepts of management;
3. explain the roles and functions of managers at various (entry, middle and the top) levels;
4. relate how internal and external environment shape organizations;
5. discuss various organizational processes, behaviours and theories associated with them; and,
