Course Description:
The objective of this course is to give students a broad understanding about the development, the implementation, and the management of information systems. The course focuses on five major areas of information systems: foundation concepts, information technologies, business applications, development processes, and management challenges.
Learning Outcomes:
On satisfactory completion of this course students should be able to explain:
• the basic concepts and vocabulary of Management Information Systems
• the role of information systems in organizations
