Mitochondrial DNA Film Summary

The introduction of my story presents a documentary shared and told of a young woman once living in East Africa more than 15, 000 years ago. A woman named Eve. It is believed that Eve was the mother of all mankind; a woman we all descended from. It is believed that because of her we all carry the same genetic traits as she, that we are all a part of her genetically. Generic tracing has led all of us back to her, which follows our ancestors. The DNA, Mitochondrial found in all humans Eve with this DNA and genetic testing transferring it off to her offspring her daughters and granddaughters has transferred this DNA to all of us, because of it is said that we all are related in some way to one another.
Eve has the Mitochondrial DNA, which is tiny structures found in all human cells, which are different from normal DNA cells found in humans with this DNA only woman can pass along or carry through her offspring of a female. A Man, cannot carry this DNA. Men have
a Y- DNA Chromosome that only men carry. With genetic testing, it is believed that all of us are related, white, black, Asian, European and Mexican, we are all related. With research, archaeologists can tell us about the life of our ancestors and how modern people lived; they can help us understand who we are and where we come from with genetic tracing. Upon, research it is believed that Archaeologists believed that other women existed before Eve, that Eve may not have been the only living female living at the time over 15,000 years ago, there were others. It is believed that Eve was the most fertile, therefore her genes were more successful among others, and her cells were the only cells to survive, making it possible to pass her genes on to her daughters and granddaughters.
It is said that 12,000 years ago, following a research study an archaeologist found a skull in a cave. Bones and body parts were also found, the facial skull that was found archaeologist worked on originating the facial features of the skull of the person back to his normal features. Upon originating the facial features of the skull of the person, back to his normal features archaeologists believed the skull looked abnormal; the skull looked like a human, but not the features of a human. The nose was too large, not the same as human the mouth looked abnormal as well as the hair lining. There are also beliefs that small humans existed in North Africa. Small humans that lived in a forest near a cave, they were found by humans and because humans were not sure of what species they found living in the cave they killed and wiped out the population killing them all.
Over 150,000 years ago modern humans, they were called, today known as our ancestors because of environmental changes affecting the climate in the grip of an ice. Ice camps dropped and sea levels dropped below 400 feet. Many died and during the ice age, the only way for modern humans to survive was to cross the Red sea. Modern humans tried to escape from Africa, but because of bad conditions, many did not survive. Ice covered and took over the land, many trying to hunt was now almost impossible, it was hard for a man to survive on land as well as animals. Modern humans did not know what to do, and many died because of this. Men were forced to become fishermen, having to survive on the harvest of the sea, because of climate changes the fight for survival was taking over. Which lead to a small harvest of people. People, given the name today as modern people whom lived in small groups everyone hunted together and found shelter wherever they could and still be safe. Hunting became their means of survival. Survival was difficult for them for a while the only food that was available for modern humans to eat was seeds and fruits. Hunting was difficult to which need cooperation among everyone with careful thinking and the hunter needed to have great skills with their hands with modern humans not knowing how to cross the waters, health, weight, and age played a vital role in survival. Many Modern humans decided on going in different directions in hopes of survival, some tried going North-West and others traveling South- East in hopes of traveling modern humans would have to travel the Sierra desert and to go South they would have to travel across the water in hopes of finding the safest way possible.
Modern humans thought traveling in different directions described would be easier for them. Many fought and struggled to stay alive. If there were a group of people consisting of 250 or less, more than 200 people in the group would not be able to fight for survival, with fighting the bitter cold, and the bad weather more than half of the group perished. To survive. Modern humans trying to travel northwest in hopes of leaving Africa most likely they would be separating from one another and would end up going separate ways. Modern humans trying to leave Africa and traveling southeast, not sure of which direction they were traveling, they would never meet again. Ice and water would separate
them. When the population began to decrease and groups began to get smaller and smaller because, girls are the only one to carry the DNA, Mitochondrial, the smaller groups of modern Americans began breathing among each other. DNA and genetic tracing from them has brought us together in some way today. 7000 Generations ago Modern humans left Africa and penetrated all over the world. The DNA tracing of people from all over the world traces a similarity to each one of us. Sharing the same DNA as our ancestors have made us all family. Equally important, with knowing this, to know we are all related in some way because of Mother Eve, we should love one another; we all have the same genetic DNA tracing. To know we are still brothers and sisters, no matter what color or race we are.
