Mobile phones are not evil and the invasion of our privacy as they transmit data to agencies is not something to be scared of if you have nothing to hide. But first what is data? Data on mobile devices is binary which consists of 1s and 0s and is transmitted to mobile devices, agencies and network towers. Governments can collect data from the corporations which own the services which people use on their mobile devices. Governments can request data from mobile devices which means that nothing is truly private as eventually all data will be collected by the government.
However there are certain services that can protect mobile data. A disadvantage of VPNs are that good quality VPNs cost money. Another is data encryption, encryption is when data is encrypted by software and jumbled up and sent to the recipient which can then decrypt it and find out the message. The disadvantage of this is that the partner who you send data to needs to know the code for example A can represent B and so on so GDIIN would mean HELLO. There are more simple ways of protecting mobile devices such as using passwords or passcodes which can go a long way to protecting your phone.

There are many other software features like Multi
