Mobile phones used to be for most businessmen and doctors for emergencies and business calls. Today, Why are they used as leisure toys?
Students are equipped with a mobile phone as ordinarily as with lunchboxes. This is sickening. This new technology brings new ways steal, cheat, bully and act irresponsibly. These negative matters have rapidly become out of hand! Mobile Phones MUST be banned!
Mobile Phones cause terrible problems in schools. Teenagers are taking precious class time to text message friends to talk about irrelevant gossip.
Students come to school to learn. Not to use their mobile phones!
Did you know that 3.95 billion text messages are sent each year? Of this, only 1 percent are emergency related matters.
Mobile phones are used to cheat during exams. They have become an electronic way of passing cheat notes. This is absolutely appalling and is extremely unfair to students who put in hours to study!
Prices for phones are through the roof. Service providers are easily scamming millions of dollars each year. Why continue to spend so much money on phones? Is it really necessary to stay in contact with people ALL the time!
Shopping centres are wall to wall with the predominant noise of the constant ringing of phones. Many get annoyed when they have to listen to people's phone conversations, Irritating ring tunes and text message alerts. These factors interrupt our meals, our movie and are major distraction to school work!
Mobile phones are known to cause brain tumas, cancer and brain damage. Thousands die from these illnesses every year. Still, we continue to use them! We MUST stop constant mobile phone use. This practice is out of hand and is proven to eventually kill us, approximately 50 years from now.
About 200,000 mobile phones are stolen each year. Parents want their children using mobile phones to make sure they are safe. Though, they don't realise that mobiles are object people steal. They endanger you by providing perfect targets for gangs!
Mobile phones are shocking. They claim the lives of many innocent people and end them in tragedy....why though? I'll tell you, because drivers speak on their mobile phones while driving!
The Research Center at Monash University said that Text messaging while driving, is as dangerous as drinking. It is equivalent to having a blood alcohol level of 0.10.
They stated the single worst driving habit on Australian Roads is driving with one hand while using a hand-held mobile phone.
How can people live with themselves if they know that each day they are endangering the life's of others! Until this problem is overcome i will NEVER feel safe on the roads of Victoria.
Why do we continue to endanger our lives for the sake of being in contact with others?
Mobile phones are proven to cause road accidents.
They can jeopardize the lives of human and animals.
They can attract unwanted attention of gangs.
They can minimize student's learning.
They can be used to bully.
They can be used to cheat
And they are expensive to own.
Why bother?
Mobile phones MUST be banned!
