Mobile Phones Using Should Be Banned in Public Places
Mobile phones became more important and convenient in human life than before, especially the sales volume of mobile phones increased 50% in China between 2000 and 2010. However, mobile phones also have different kind of bad effects to harmonious society. This essay identifies some of causes such as annoyance, interference and some disruption to prove mobile phones using should be banned in public places.

Firstly, the benefit of banning mobile phones using in public transports is avoiding the heavy annoyance. In 2006, Marrcus Ocarsson and Anthony Browne published an article inwhich argues that the government of Swedish should ban cell phones in buses, train and trams. They pointed out that “Some passengers were hypersensitive to electromagnetic fields. Others were annoyed by people shouting into phones” (Oscarsson.M and Browne.A Mobile phone to be silenced by new law, 02 June.2006). There is no doubt that people talking at the top of their voice when using the cell people is a big problem of annoyance.

Secondly, banning cell phones using in hospital might reduce the interference of instrument. Joseph J.Morrissey’s(2007) article suggested that “Many hospital reacted to concern over electromagnetic interference with critical medical equipment by implementing precautionary bans on mobile phones throughout the facility”. It proved that more people use cell phones in hospitals and nobody cares that could be dangerous. Therefore, interference from mobile phones have become a risk factor for hospitals.

Thirdly, as cheating tools, mobile phones could decline students learning atmosphere and the bad influence is more and more serious.Zach Miners(2009) report described that “students in school with cell phones admit to having stored information on them to look at during a test or texting friends about answers”. It pointed out that teens do not have self-control to use cell phones in classrooms, and they would have addiction to playing mobile phone games during

Almost every American has one. Some people use them strictly for business while others strictly for leisure. Most of us use them for both. They are always at our side ready to be answered, receive text messages, check email, or update our Facebook status. Cellphones have almost become a necessity in society. People regularly engage in a wide variety of multitasking activities when they are behind the wheel. Data from the 2000 U.S. census indicates that drivers spend an average of 25.5 min each day commuting to work, and there is a growing interest in trying to make the time spent on the roadway more productive (Reschovsky, 2004). Unfortunately, this leads to drivers being distracted on the road. I was a victim of an accident caused by a distracted driver on the telephone. I was in a parking lot about to park and a woman backed into me while she was talking on the phone. She profusely apologized and said she didn’t see me. It wasn’t that she couldn’t see me; she wasn’t paying attention because she was on the phone. Luckily, no one was hurt and there was minimal damage to my car. It’s just annoying and disheartening that people can be so careless. Cellphone use while driving needs to be banned in order to protect drivers and pedestrians alike.…

As a student cheating can be tempting. A cell phone makes that even worse. Cheating in the classroom is the worst thing you can do, and cell phones make that easier. Notes used to be passed to cheat but now cellphones are used. Students can take pictures of the test and answers and send them to many other students and before long the whole class could have it. Taking it even farther students can ask to be excused to go to the bathroom and send texts to get answers. Cell phones nowadays are advanced enough that students could look up test answers quickly at the palm of their hand. The possibilities for cheating using a cell phone are limitless.…

Furthermore, cellular phones should be allowed in school because it can be a cheating tool. For instance, if a scholar took an exam before their friend and their buddy did not study, that person taking the test can take a picture of the questions to show to their companion. Usually, the student(s) are not caught but when they get caught the superintendent, who runs all the public, charter, private or boarding schools in a city, hears about it and the school can have a terrible reputation. Also, when a minor cheats on a huge test (state test, mid-terms, final-terms, etc.) they can especially get in trouble.…
