Mock Interview Research Paper
In my reflective essay I will explore the experiences I encountered in my mock interview. This was my first interview, so I didn’t know exactly what to expect. As I waited for my turn to arrive, I grow nervous by the second. I didn’t know what kind of question I was going to get asked or what question I should ask at the end of the interview. Another reason I was nervous was because I knew that the interview was five minutes long, that sounded like a long time, and time seems to go a lot slower when someone want it to go by faster. When it was finally my turn I went in and tried my best to make the interview go as smooth as possible.
As the interview went on, I became less nervous and became more relax. The questions that were asked were simple

If you realized that you just got asked an illegal question don’t tell the interviewer that he can’t asked that question because it’s an illegal question, he might get offended and mad that you are telling him how to do his job and that won’t help you with your interviewer. He might not know that’s an illegal question. Instead you got two options, the first one is to tell them that you rather not answer that question, the second one is if you don’t care about the question than just can answer it. Telling a short story is a better example that just telling the interviewer about my skill. Another thing I need to work on is negotiating salary, I need to make sure that we both agreed on a salary that work for both of us. If you not careful when negotiating on a salary you could be giving up thousands of dollars. So you need to be careful because you could be giving away a new

It was my first time interviewing like this and I believe that I kept a good amount of control of the interview. Of course like with everything else in life there is room for improvement. I wish that I could’ve asked more questions. I think that I did not ask as many questions as I had wanted to because I lacked a little bit of confidence. I think that my confidence will grow the more times I interview mock clients. Watching other classmates have a difficult time with responses made me feel that I would have the same problem. I believe the questions I did ask where answered completely. I do not think I had as much trouble as others. I would’ve liked to have known more about the client before we…

When I received this assignment it took a little thought to decide who I wanted to profile in my paper. Since how I work for HEB, I have many people in the HR field that I could have interviewed. After considering all my options I decided to go all the way to the top of HEB’s HR in Central Texas. The reason I wanted to interview the Central Texas Director of Human Resource for H-E-B is so others will know how much pride HEB takes in their Human Resource department and the type of person it takes to be the Director of Human Resources at HEB. In order for one to be considered for this position one would have to have exquisite people skills and a heart and spirit for helping. This is why I chose Mr. Vic Nivens, the Director of Human Resources…

For this project, we were given four topics to write about. Those four topics were a practitioner interview, criminal court visit, police ride-along and a visit to a correctional facility. As much as I would have loved to go on a police ride-along I choose to obtain a practitioner interview. We were given the option to interview someone involved in the criminal justice system ranging from a police officer, attorney, judge or even a current inmate or someone that has served time before. I chose to write my paper or a former inmate named Kyle Stevens. Mr. Steven’s is actually one of my cousins we’ve lived right next to each other for most of both of your lives. I interviewed Becky Hendrix, Executive Director for Professional Care Services. I recently had the honor of interviewing someone in our community who has had more than twenty years of leadership experience in our community. The interview ended up taking much longer than I expected because I was so influenced by what she had to say, I did not want to miss anything. Mrs. Becky Hendrix started her career as a CPA back in the 80 's for the World Color Press. Her leadership abilities were quickly realized, and she was promoted to head CPA. From there she moved on to the Professional Care Service where she remained for fifteen years serving as a CPA, and finally working her way up to the Executive Director. Becky was in charge of over 187 employees. My conversation with Becky took a direction that I did not expect. She attributes her success to the leadership traits that she has learned over the years, and quoted many of the very ideas and theories almost verbatim from our class lecture. That was an incredible experience to witness firsthand how these traits become behaviors and practices.…

Computers and education are permanently bound, and any educational structure must incorporate them into their plan. Nearly every job in the real world uses some form of computer and it is imperative for students to familiarize themselves with this shift. The internet makes it possible for students to not have to associate learning in a classroom, as courses can be attended in any environment, whether it be at home or in the library. Without the physical confines students have much more enthusiasm for their subjects (Koch, 2014). This can make the teacher’s job easier and the student’s assignments more rewarding as the software programs take novel approaches toward…

From the ages of 6-13 he was a resident of Quito, Ecuador, a country in South America.
