Modern Art is an individualistic form that takes an idea and turns it into a piece of work. This genre parallels with conceptual art, which is art where the idea brought up by the artists more important than the finished artwork itself. Modern art brought bold color, symbolism, new ideas, techniques, and completely brand new types of art.
