Here's why music is so appealing to people of all ages:
Music Appeals to our Individual Senses:
Whether the song lyrics match up with an event in a person's life or has a catchy tune -- the brain is naturally attracted to songs that connect with an individual. Although this isn't always obvious, people often have a connection with a song in some shape or form.

Connecting with the past is a key feature that music presents. An older song could remind a person of the past. Emotional …show more content…
attachment to a song is a common occurrence. People often listen to songs to bring back memories -- whether it is to grieve or to recall a joyful time in their lives.
Music Fabricates a Setting:
Each artist is responsible for creating a setting for a listener.
Through the tone, lyrics, mood and beat of a song, an artist encourages the listener's imagination to create a unique setting. A Christmas song may try to establish a snowy city in the winter or a family gathered around a fireplace as its setting, while an electronic song may try to establish a night at the club as its setting. Each song varies from each artist and therefore establishes a unique setting.
Music can be Construed in Various Ways:
As a summary of all of the introduced topics, the most important factor is that the interpretation of a song is solely based off of the listener's discretion. Having a song relate on a personal level is an astounding feeling that cannot be established through other methods. Websites that allow users to discuss their personal interpretation of song lyrics are extremely popular, especially in the current "digital world."

manner.
The implicit truth of music is that there is an extensive connection between an individual and a song, whether the person acknowledges or not.
Next time you are listening to a song, ask yourself these three basic questions:
What do the lyrics of this song mean to me?
How do I connect with this song?
What appears in my imagination when I listen to this song?
Upon answering the questions, I hope you comprehend my point of view.
