Mom Daughter Journal Entry
Journal Entry: Today is Thursday, March 6th, 6075. I found a letter in my mom's car dating back to 6065. The letter stated that my mom and dad had been one of the three lucky families to get a free trip to Earth. I asked my mom if she had ever went to Earth, she replied “yes, I went with your father, I am hoping I will get the chance to take you someday soon.” “ mom why haven't you ever talked about going to Earth, if you wanted to take me” I asked. She responded blandly not saying much, but what she did say was shocking and empathetic she said she never told me so that I would not be disappointed if we couldn't go. “Genevieve why don't you just help your mom get the money she needs?” Alice asked. “What money alice, my mom does not need money” Genevieve asked alice, completely unaware that Alice and Jane were looking through her journal. “So you don't want to go to planet Earth”. “Wait how did you know about that?” Genevieve asked. They didn't get to finish their conversation before the sound of Genevieve’s Mom’s drawn out voice came through the speaker that was attached to the wall in genevieve’s room, “Get down here, take out the trash, and get the mail.” How do you think they receive mail and take it inside, I can tell you you are probably wrong. Genevieve walked outside and and put in the garbage bin, then she went to the device connected to the outside wall. She looked at what mal had been sent out, she sent all of their received mail to the computer by the printer. Then she walked back inside and went to print the mail out when her mom called Jane and Alice down to eat before they went home. They ate their meal, then Jane
and Alice got ready to leave and Genevieve’s mom, charlotte, drove them home. When Charlotte and Genevieve got home they started sorting mail, then they read it. There was a letter from Home Suite Earth it was addressed to the Darell family. It read the following information “Dear Mr. and Mrs. Darell, we are proud to announce to you that you have been selected as one of the three families to get a free trip to Home Suite Earth. “ Oh my Gosh, I can't it, we can finally go, mom!” Genevieve said. Alice and Jane came running over in excitement “we were invited to go to Home Suite Earth” they both said at the same time. “we were too” Genevieve said excitedly. Then they all went to their houses and without wasting any time at all started packing. When they got to Earth, it felt like an oasis. On their way to the surface of the planet there was a sign that gave “Earth’s” history, it implied “Earth was destroyed by a chemical explosion of unknown substances & causes. This devastating event killed nobody, luckily a warning was put out in just enough time for people to leave planet earth before it happened. This explosion happened in 4035. Some people cleaned up Earth in hope of something better and people would travel here. The clean up happened in 4095, and here we are today, still in full business. People from all over travel here. Three families a month get a free trip here, and we offer the best hotel and zoo you will ever experience. And here is “Home Suite Earth”.
