Water and juice isn’t enough to replace fluid lost, therefore mom needs to give the baby oral electrolyte solution (sold near the formulas in drug and groceries store) to avoid dehydration and electrolyte lost. Mom also needs to wash her hands more often, especially after all diaper changes and before preparing food, because illness with these symptoms are very contagious.
