Money in our lives
Our lives are gradually improving and our money need for daily life is thus on the increase. It is obvious that money is very helpful to us, but in addition to their benefits, there are many downsides that it has brought to life.

Firstly, money brings about a lot ot advantages as seen from the fact. We use it to equip our houses with furniture, to buy food, clothes and all other things we need to live comfortably. Money is an essential condition for every student to go to school and for every patient to see a doctor. Moreover, we can use it for charity to help the unfortunate feel somewhat materially compensated. Without money, our lives are penurious, it is very hard to meet the minimum requirements in life, which is simply eating or drinking.

Apart from those advantages, there are numerous downsides brought to us by money. First of all, it makes us grasping. Undeniably, money is very valuable in life, the more money we earn, the more materials we have. Therefore, people always try their best to earn as much money as possible due to their desire to have a better life. Some, however, do not. They want more money simply because of their rivalries. They wish to be as wealthy as millionaires or billionaires. This indeliberately spoils their morality. Secondly, money rules over evil-doing behaviours. Earning money legitimately is a difficult task, but some people want it to be an easy one by conscienceless acts which are likely to be robbing or murdering. They are not alive to the fact that such behaviours can end them up in prison.

In a word, whether money does good or harm, it depends greatly on our perception of it. With money in our hands, we should let it be our servants, not our masters in order to build a better and better world where no crimes

The importance of money in India is seen as a huge part that is a part of their everyday life. Tapasi states in the film that “..nobody here understands anything but money.” (57:28). This statement is also the same here in Canada or any other country. No matter where you go, money seems more important to man than anything. Everyone is so greedy, and only cares about what the easiest way to get money is. This importance of money is also causing corporations and people to have no morals because they are only focusing on what is the most efficient way to get money, no matter how illegal or wrong it may be. In my life money is very important, my parents work 6 days a week, 8 hours a day so we get to have the luxuries and get to participate in certain special activities. Working that often can harm the family a little bit because you don’t see them as often. In some people’s eyes they wouldn’t care so much because it’s earning money but family is more important than riches.…

We live in a world where money is needed for everything we do, so we end up becoming obsessed. At first, it’s a necessity, but then we want more. A person wants to keep making money because they are greedy. As long as they are greedy, they will always crave for more than what they need. In general, money is powerful, but at the same time you can’t let it control your life. In the Queen of Versailles, David Siegel is trying to build the dream house. In order to do that, he has to borrow money from the bank. As he proceeds to build the mansion, the bank stops giving him money. His idiotic wife doesn’t know what’s going on, and she goes on an endless shopping spree. In the end, the man ends up losing the house, and is forced to sell it. Obtaining money can either make you live a life of greed and misery, or a positive life.…
