Monkey Flaw-Personal Narrative
I was walking along the old and beat up sidewalk in my hometown it was a cold and rainy day, i was known for collecting unusual objects and selling them but, as i was walking i noticed something i’ve never seen before in all my days of collecting things it was a unique and a different. i went to see what it was and as i was examining it i notice writing on the back of it i read what it said and it said it was called a monkey paw and it could grant me three wishes any wishes i would like and so i kept it and i thought to myself i can't ever sell such a unique thing. As i was walking home i couldn't wait to tell my husband what a magnificent thing that i had stumbled across. I went down stairs to the safe to get money out to buy supper for tonight. As i was opening the safe a nose came from inside it sounded like someone scratching on the walls inside, i called my husband to come and see if he could hear the same noise and he heard it, he told me to stand back that he would open it and see what was inside. Meanwhile i was standing there and he couldn't open it, maybe twenty minutes later we finally got it opened and there was nothing inside other than the money. After i got the money that i needed out we closed it and i left to buy our supper and lunch. When i got back i called jase which is my husband to come eat we had a lovely dinner then we could hear the scratching from the safe once again. I went to open and see what it was and come to find out it was a ugly and scary troll, i was scared and called out my second wish to make the troll leave. My wish was granted quickly and the the troll vanished. The next morning i woke up to find my husband cold, pale, and dead I freaked out and didn't i understand how he could have possible could have died. I called the police and they took him away, i still couldn't understand how that happened, but then i remembered when i asked for money i got the money but i also got a troll, and i thought the monkey paw could that have been the cause of jases death i was too upset to even
