Monologue About Petco

“Um lady.. He just peed in the crate, you might want to clean that up.” Oh! hi there im.. Um um well i don’t have a name yet but today i will finally get one! My brothers and I are on our way to the petco in greenville, to get adopted. My new owner claimed me two weeks ago and is on the way from hilton head to come get me! I’m really excited to meet her and go to my new home. I wonder if they have other pets for me to play with. I can't wait for them to finally get here! It’s been awhile since we arrived at petco but i’m sure my new owner will be here shortly. For some reason everyone wants to adopt me! Wait.. can it be? My new owner!! She comes up to my pen and immediately picks me up into her arms. I begin to shake because i’m nervous and excited at the same time. After she pays for me we begin to proceed into petco. She starts to pick up treats then some toys, clothes, a bowl, and food. They pay for all my stuff ... TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS!! Wow i can't believe they would pay that much just for me!
It’s been 2 hours on the road. We stop for gas and a potty break for me. One more hour in the car until we're home! I love sitting in my owners lap and playing with my new toys. As i sit in- “HOME! Are we home”?! Yes we're finally home.. I can't wait to see their other pets! As we approach the door in my owner's arms i see a giant dog jump up on the door... i think i peed a little, oops. We walk in and- AHHHHHH he tried to jump on me! “Cabo get down, and would you be quiet” kari (my owner) said. All i see are dogs and humans touching me and crowding around me.
