He finds out the only reason she went to find a cure so that her son can find a way to end the plague and earn the respect he has been looking for. When Edward hears this, he is furious. He runs to find Edward and when he sees him, he attacks him. As the guards pull him off, Edward screams, “you made Mom leave just to help you and you didn’t go to see her, you ungrateful bastard’’. He is constantly belittled by everyone and the only person that he thought respected him and he thought was his best friend just attacked him then goes to sleep when he wakes up to the saddest reality breaking news, “Prince Edward, the black Prince has died and his younger brother John is the new commander of the army long live the royal family’’. John is devastated. He is now left the commander of England’s forces and has to lead England’s army while he tries to find a cure for the plague in his free time. As he tries to find a cure for his mother, he must make the people trust him. His mother is still sick with the plague, and the whole country is trying to find a way to end the plague. “The more time we waste the sicker she gets,” the king said, “don’t want to lose another family member’’. “We must find a cure’’, said John. “This plague will kill us all if we don’’. John misses his brother and uses his death as motivation to find a cure. As John goes to write a report on the deaths this week, he is so tired. He falls asleep while he is asleep. He had a dream that there were oranges, lemons and limes.
