Both Christianity and Islam had received laws from their founding prophets. Christians live according to the Ten Commandments. These Ten Commandments are general ways to show how a good Christian would live. However, Islam follows Shoriah laws. These laws are numerous and very specific. Christianity focuses on the life of Jesus Christ. According to Christians, Jesus is the Messiah, and the occurring of people. Throughout his life, he taught people on how to become enlightened and reach the kingdom of God. Jerusalem is important to Christians as it is the place of Jesus was brought as a child. Furthermore, Jesus preached and healed in Jerusalem. When Jesus died on the cross, the cross became the symbol of Christianity. The bible is Christianity’s holy book written by the followers of Jesus. Islam follow the techniques of Muhammad. He was a prophet and a messenger of Allah (Islamic word for god). The Quran is Islam’s holy book, and it was passed down by word to Muhammad by the angel Calnel. Abraham is a common factor between both religions. In Christianity, he is the prototype of all believers white in Islam, he is a link in the chain of prophets starting with Adam and ending with Muhammad. Thus, though both religions have different roots, they originate from the same tree.
Today, Christianity and Muslims have similar ways of life. They both visit halls of courtship.
