Monte Vs Stark Analysis

Monte V. Stark Resistance towards Hitler and his Nazi regime was not tolerated. People would not stand up against the Nazi because of fear of punishment or death. However, a few select people had the bravery to speak out and protest the Nazi regime. Hilda Monte and Jonathan Stark were two adolescents who possessed the bravery to stand up to Hitler’s ideology. Hilda Monte was a fifteen year old girl who would write publications that would question and counter the Hitler’s ideals. She moved from Germany to England to write articles and essays on “international resistance to the Nazi regime and to liberating the German people form the Nazi system.” (Unknown, 12) She then reached Lisbon but was sent back to England. After that she tried to reenter
Germany through Switzerland. She was shot trying to cross the Switzerland boarder by a SS officer in 1945. Jonathan Stark was very similar to Hilda Monte. He too spoke out and resistance the Nazi regime. He was also young like Ms. Monte, he was around the age of sixteen when he first started to resist Hitler’s ideology and eighteen years old when he was hung for his resistance. Although Hilda Monte was a girl and slightly younger then Jonathan Stark, they both resisted Hitler. They both had different proposes to resist the Nazi regime and they both resisted in different ways and met they're end in different ways they shared the same resistance to evil.
