Moral Conundrum
In recent discussions on moral dilemma, a controversial issue has been whether is it right to steal in order to save a human life. On the one hand, some argue that stealing even if it is to save a human life is considered wrong according to civil law. From this perspective, when a person steals he is breaking law and he should be punished for the crime. Others, however, argue that if the person who is stealing has a valid reason like to save a life its justifiable. In sum, then, the issue is whether he should steal or not steal.
My own view is that he should steal. Though I concede that stealing is a crime under the civil law, I still maintain that he should steal to save the life. Although some might object that stealing is
