Morality In The Time Keeper

In the book The Time Keeper, Dor, Sarah, and Victor all show morality. In the beginning of the book the morals were all around the place. They started off negative but as the book progresses they turned into positive in the end. Now, Dor shows morality because of his punishment. See, before Dor’s punishment he did not understand it, all he cared about was counting and time. For example, he liked to know when the sun was going to come up and go down. But the funny thing is he used water to figure that out. Now, Sarah and Victor showed morality by learning that it did not matter how much time they had left or who hurt them or if they were in pain but, that they needed to enjoy it and spend it living to the fullest. Before they learned this
they did not think about who they were hurting and what it would do to the people around them. All they cared about was that they were suffering and they wanted it to be over. See, Victor learned that even though he was in pain he needed to live life to the fullest and not try to take over and decide when his time is up because nobody can decide that except God. One character that showed christian values was the old man and Dor. See, the old man gave Dor a second to redeem himself of the wrong that he did and Dor helped Sarah and Victor see that they can not control when their time is up or not. He also showed Sarah that she would hurt a lot of people in the process. When she saw this, she realized that she did not think about anybody else but herself. Dor also showed Victor that life would not turn out the way he wanted it to when he tried to freeze himself. He saw that he would just be used in a museum and he would not be able to live his life the way he wanted to. Those are some examples on how the book showed morality.
