Moses Vs Jesus
Do you know two people who are both equally remarkable in their own way? Moses and Jesus can arguably be called the most important people in the bible. Jesus has experienced so much during his time on earth. Moses also lived through a numerous amount of situations and they are both very alike to one another. Moses and Jesus’ stories are quite amazing and they are definitely two individuals who we should look up to.

Jesus was an amazing man and role model for a countless number of people. There is a variety of exceptional moments in his life that help to make up his storyline. Firstly, Jesus was born in a stable in Bethlehem from Virgin Mary. Luke 2:1-20 is describing the Christmas story, it states that Mary and Joseph (Mary’s spouse) were

They have various attributes and qualities in common even when these two characters are separated by over a thousand years. The first similarity is, that they both heard the voice of God and followed his path that he set up for them. This is shown when Moses was reached out by God in a cave and he followed his will to free the Hebrew slaves from Pharaoh (Exodus 3:1-22). As well as, when Jesus fulfilled the scriptures to which he had to die on the cross for our freedom like the Lord had said (Matthew 27:45-54). In both situations, God had disclosed what he needed them to do, and no matter how hard it was, both Jesus and Moses did what was said to have been done. The next similarity is, that they both showed God’s wonders and they both taught people about God’s word. This is demonstrated when Moses split the Red Sea (Exodus 14:21) and when he turned the Nile River into blood (Exodus 7:20). He also tried to educate Pharaoh about God’s greatness and power. Also, when Jesus performed miracles such as when he cured a blind man (John 9) and when he walked on water (Mark 6:45-56). Additionally, Jesus taught people about the power of God through his sharing of parables to many people. The third similarity is, that they both made sacrifices to help people and put the needs of others before themselves. This is displayed when Moses watched his …show more content…
They always kept their faith to God even when times were tough. Jesus performed extraordinary miracles to help others and with God’s help, Moses exhibited God’s wonders in great ways. Both men loved and were deeply loved by God and others. Moses and Jesus are inspirations to millions of people and they help give us a new outlook on
