Most Dangerous Game: Summary

The Most Dangerous Game is a story of a hunter named Rainsford who fell overboard on a ship and swam to an island call ship-trap island. Once he was able to get to shore he was found by a man by the name of Zaroff who owned the island. Zaroff took Rainsford to his home and told him that he is a hunter as well, but he doesn’t hunt animals not anymore for the matter he hunts men for sport of cores. Rainsford was not fully up to the challenge but he didn’t want to die, so he went by Zaroff’s rules. Rainsford eventually got a hit on Zaroff but was not able to get close enough to kill him, mostly because Zaroff called out his hunting dogs. After a long chase, Rainsford killed one of Zaroff’s men and dogs, he ran to a cliff
and heard Zaroff coming towards him and jumped. Zaroff went home thinking he had won but later that night Rainsford confronted Zaroff in his room, Rainsford killed Zaroff somehow and slept on his bed.
