Milk, one of the most nutritious beverages that you and your family can enjoy, makes a contribution to children’s diet. In addition to calcium, it provides other 8 important nutrients. Over the 70 percent calcium in our food supply comes from milk and dairy food. Without milk on the menu, it’s unlikely that kids will meet their daily calcium needs.
Further minerals like phosphorous, sodium, potassium and magnesium are also present in appreciable quantities. Milk provides considerable quantity of thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pyridoxine, biotin, folic acid, vitamin B12 etc. apart from vitamin C.
Milk is the most widely used commodity in most of the households. Although
