Movie Analysis: The Bachelorette
The Bachelorette Every woman’s dream is to fall in love and walk down the aisle. According to anthropologist Helen Fisher, PhD, author of the new book Why Him? Why Her?, has a formula for romance based on mixing the right brain chemistry. Could this be true? It takes two special people to connect with their mind and physical attraction. This is exactly what was happening in the television series The Bachelorette. It is a competitive reality television show drama that started first season in January 2003. Now The Bachelorette show is one of the popular shows on American television where the single female is looking to find a true love and future husband among 25 bachelors. The two played some ball and had a nice romantic moment before heading to his family’s house for the big moment. Des had gets to sit outside with Chris overprotective mother. Although it was hard to read his mother she apparently really likes Des. Last stop on the hometown dates for Desiree is Utah to meet Brooks’ family. The two have a picnic and talked about their feelings for each other. Brooks is acting a bit distanced towards Desiree. It must be hard falling for a girl who is dating three other guys at the same time. In real life no man would want to share his girlfriend with others so she can choose who she really wants to be with. This type of relationship puts a big gap between couples, leading to breakups. Brooks and Des just look like a perfect couple! They seem to enjoy canoe ride. When Des and Brooks walk into his family home the big family is awaiting to see who Brooks is bringing home. Can she be a part of this family? Every family that Des met was trying to impress her, after all the future of their loved one is in her hands. Just like in real life people are striving to win hearts and to be picked over others.
Before the rose ceremony Desiree talks to her brother Nate, he is like any brother would very overprotective of his only sister. At the rose ceremony, the men all look a little nervous and viewers are sad and with heavy hard knowing that one of these nice guys

Stepping out of limo Chris feels nervous. Viewers’ feelings are accelerated and everyone is holding their breath. After emotional confession and tears on everyone’s eyes including the viewer Chris kneels on his one knee before the woman he loves and asking her hand in marriage “Desiree Hartsock, I want to be your first and I want to be your last, will you marry me?” She said “yes, million times.” This is such a satisfying moment for the viewer as it gives them hope in love and for those who are in love shakes up their butterflies. Desiree found what she was looking for, her true love and a proposal from the man she fell in love.
