The first half of this does not have dialog so sound plays an important role in this movie The simple “bleeps and bloops” that Wall-e makes helps the audience see exactly how Wall-E feels and can even understand the sequence of events without a single word being said Little things like music and dancing can show the relationship between Wall-E and Eve .Example of sound effects in this movie are Eve’s laser gun, in the movie they striked a slinky and hit it with an object to get the “boom” sound. In the movie they used a vocoder to modify how the robots talk and move. In the scene where Wall-e first meets Eve they use a vocoder to synthesize and make Eve and Wall-e sound like machines, later we hear a “wee” sound this indicates danger and helps us realize what’s going in the movie.. In this scene they also use a thunder sheet to get a rumble sound out that helps out set the scene. When eve scans we hear a “diing” sound this tells us that she is gathering information. Example of diegetic sounds in this movie are when the characters move and talk, this also synchronous because we can see where the noise is coming from. An example of a non diegetic sounds are the background music, this is also asynchronous because only the audience can hear
