Do you like movies? I know I do! I watch movies all the time. There are so many different
movies to choose from. There are comedy, thriller, action, romance and suspense movies. There
are some movies that always make you cry no matter how many times you see them. There are
also some that you can get emotionally attached too as well. “The Wizard of Oz” is a classic movie that I grew up watching over and over again. I
love this movie more than words can say. It was one of the first movies I loved as a child. The
movie was so colorful and the songs I can remember till this day. I do have some favorite parts
of the movie like when Dorothy gets trapped inside the cyclone and sees the witch for the first
time. When I was little that part always used to scare me. Her dog Toto was the cutest dog I ever
seen. As the movie goes on it goes from black and white to color. I actually think that this movie
was one of the very few or the first to play in color.
I love the colors they put together for this movie. It always made me feel like there really
was something over the rainbow. The Munchkins from Munchkin Land were so adorable . All
the singing and dancing they did made me feel alive, like there was something to believe in. I
miss being able to just sit there and recite the movie word for word. I used to sing all the songs
like I wrote them myself.
"The Wizard of Oz" was a movie that always made me happy just to know I could watch
it with the people I loved. The Cowardly Lion and the Tin man were my favorite characters in
the whole movie. When it came time for the movie to come to an end, especially the part that
she gets to say goodbye to all the people she met along the way, that part seriously made me cry
each and every time.
I used to think that "no place like home" meant that she could not get back home. I
thought about it for a long time
