There is a lot of competition between cd players and mp3 players. So when buying one, it is a good idea to think about the similarities and differences between them to figure out which is the best buy. Cd players have been around for a long time and have been really popular. Cd players are portable and they are easy to use. Cd players were so popular because they were so small it really made them the first portable music playing device. Cd players are really easy to use, all you have to do is just turn it on, put in a cd and press play and the music starts playing, it’s that simple. A lot like cd players, mp3 players are portable, small, and easy to use. Mp3 players are fairly new to the world so they have become real popular, especially with today’s youth and even adults are getting into using mp3 players. Mp3 players are so small that they fit in the palm of your hand and that makes them easy to carry around. Mp3 players are also easy to use, just select the song and press play and the song starts playing. There are a lot of differences between cd players and mp3 players, for instance, mp3 players’ batteries are rechargeable and with cd players you have to replace the batteries when they die. Cd players use cds which only hold a certain amount of songs and when the cd is done you have to change cds, mp3 players hold thousands of songs and play continuously for hours at a time. Also with cd players you have to carry cds around with you and with mp3 players you can put all your songs onto it. Mp3 players are expensive they can cost up to three hundred dollars, where cd players are relatively cheap and only cost around twenty to thirty dollars depending on what features are on them. Mp3 players also play videos and sometimes even TV shows, where as cd players only play music and sometimes even the radio.
