Life after basketball for Anderson has had its ups and downs and brought about troubles including alcohol addiction, depression, financial struggles, failed relationships
In an attempt to get his life on the right track and provide an example for up-and-coming athletes and anyone dealing with troubled pasts and the ups and downs of life
Anderson teamed up with (writer, producer, and director) Jill Campbell and Barry Greenstein (producer) to put together documentary about the life of Kenny Anderson entitled "Mr. Chibbs".
Mr Chibbs is a documentary that highlights Anderson's basketball accomplishments but focuses on his turmoiled upbringing and how

but you never know what emotions (failure, guilt, pressure to succeed, denial) are harboring inside
Anderson's success in basketball allowed him to escape the past and push those skeletons back even further in the closet during that time
But what about after basketball
Basketball is easy, Life is hard.
Life has its ups and downs which is something that we all experience and can relate to.

As a kid growing up in the early 90's, Kenny Anderson
(alongside Tim Hardaway...I know my hoop heads remeber the killer crossover) was my favorite player.
Of course Michael Jordan was top dog and is the G.O.A.T but with with Kenny Anderson coming out of NYC and being a point guard which was the position I played as a child I favored Anderson.
I can remember the days when I would rewind my NBA BELOW THE RIM vhs tape to the point where it was ready to pop. The good ole days.
Shouts out to Kenny Anderson. Good work on the documentary. Much needed in these days and times.

Dennis Rodman, whose extraordinary rebounding skills helped the Pistons and Bulls win five championships, may be better-known among NBA fans for his unusual haircuts, offcourt antics and turbulent retirement. He reminded Bulls fans and writers of that side of him Wednesday, with a colorful and tear-filled press conference before Game Two of the Eastern Conference finals between the Bulls and Miami. (In an unintentional homage to the Worm, the Bulls gathered a greater share of offensive rebounds than their opponents, though they still lost, knotting the series at a game apiece.)…
