Mr. Oshiro Murder Case
On January 29, 2016, Mr.Kurose, Waianae high school’s vice principal, had recently passed. He was savagely killed, but in this investigation there was a limited amount of evidence to identify the criminal. On the day of the homicide, Mr.Kurose had last seen four other teachers, and they are now suspects in this case. Their names are Ms. J Megahan, Ms. J Moriwaki, Ms. M Oshiro, and Mr. M Ratcliffe. Each of the four teachers each had a reason for killing Mr.Kurose. However, looking over all the evidence we have Ms.Oshiro seems like a questionable suspect. Oshiro is the main suspect mainly because of her motive, opportunity, and character. Despite the fact that Ms.Oshiro looks innocent, she actually has a psychopathic illness. “Oshiro was …show more content…

“Oshiro scored a 35. scores of 35 or 36 are considered exceptionally high and should be treated as severe, appearing with a high risk for problem behavior patterns. Any scores above 30 are in the clinically significant range and indicate psychopathy.” The results from Oshiro’s psychopathic checklist shows that she is at high risk of problem behavior patterns and she’s indicated as a psychopath. Oshiro reflects the traits of being normal but that’s far from the truth. Her traits of her psychopathic illness makes it seem like she could have killed Kurose. When she took a self report of personality(SRP) interpretation test the results “...had several elevated Consistency rating, indicating that Oshiro attempted to manipulate results, lied on responses, or otherwise provided on insincere treatment or response to SRP questions. Data is considered ineligible for entry into schema.” An SRP interpretation test was one of the three psychological test that Oshiro had a taken. The overview of her results added up to the pile of evidence against Oshiro. Why would a so-called nice person like oshiro manipulate the results on her SRP test? She’s just trying to make herself look as if she has a good personality by manipulating people. It was as if she was wearing a mask to make herself look like a normal person. “Is it true that the body was disremembered overnight? How terrible. The killer must be someone extremely

“I got through and saw the deceased Robinson laying on the floor on his back. I could see … blood running from the back and nostrils.” William Robinson was a coloured settler in Salt Spring Island in British Columbia who was brutally murdered in the spring of 1868. Dr. Harold Shipman would be considered a psychopath because he displayed qualities of one during the time of his crimes. Psychopaths usually have charming or disarming personalities and can easily gain people’s trust. Shipman was thought as very kind and had the trust of all of his patients. When people approached him with concern about all of his patients dying, he reassured them that there was nothing to worry about, and they trusted him. The families trusted him that there was no use with getting an autopsy and they believed him. He also didn’t feel guilty or empathetic about the crimes that he committed.…

Those who present with antisocial personality disorder may or may not present with psychopathy. There are two main assessment devices used to evaluate the level of psychopathy that a person exhibits. The Psychopathy Checklist-Revised (PCL-R) was developed by Robert Hare in 1980 and revised in 1991 (Blair et al, 2005). The Antisocial Process Screening Device (APSD) is another device used to assess psychopathy in adults (Frick & Hare, 2001a). Both of these assessments consist of twenty behavioral items, scored from zero to two, that are used to measure whether or not a person possesses certain traits that, when combined, are common to those of people diagnosed with psychopathy.…

What is a psychopath? How would we describe a psychopath? Although people may have a different opinion of the description of a psychopath, there are some aspects that most people will agree on. From our understanding, psychopaths are impulsive, ego-centric, and sometimes violent individuals, who lie and manipulate others for their own personal gain. At the same time, psychopaths can be charming which explains how they manage to easily manipulate others. The most intriguing characteristic, however, is the lack of conscience within a psychopath. We can all agree, it seems as if psychopaths feel no remorse or guilt after exhibiting their…

Thousands of undiagnosed psychopaths are roaming the streets of society. A psychopath, by dictionary definition, is a mentally unbalanced individual who is inclined toward antisocial and criminal behavior. Whether those abnormalities trigger an inner serial killer is all a matter of psychology. Statistically, most serial killers are white males in their twenties to thirties coming from a low to middle class background. In America, one in one hundred people are psychopathic and only 20% of them are in prisons. Successful businessmen and political and religious leaders have a great chance of being psychopathic. Narcissistic and manipulative characteristics are key aspects of a psychopath’s personality. Considering all aspects of psychopathology,…

Based on what I have read about Karen Rusa, I have concluded that she has obsessive-compulsive personality disorder which is commonly known as OCD. Karen behaves this type of behaviour mainly to prevent a situation she dreads of happening which involves her children. These thoughts are unrealistic, unreasonable, and excessive. Her obsessions and compulsions are time consuming and affect Karen’s routine and her relationship with her family. This is concluded from the example in the paragraph which gives an example of when Karen goes grocery shopping and chooses an item on the shelf. Another example that was given is how Karen is urged or compelled to have four coffees or cigarettes because of her unrealistic fear of something happening to her…

    Kill Bill Psychology

She is diagnosed with psychopathy disorder because in the movie she is filled with revenge, anger, hurt, and resentfulness and she uses all of these emotions and inners it into what can satisfy that hole she has in her heart due to the death of her daughter; which is killing her enemies and anyone else who had anything to do with trying to kill her and who killed her daughter. As she approaches these people I notice how she’s very calm, she acts so casual that even knowing she’s about to kill someone she shows no remorse, no disgust or fear of the consequences. There’s one scene in the movie where the bride kills is having a blood fight with Vivica Fox and her daughter comes home from school, as soon as she walked in the house the two woman instantly went from attacking each other with knives, to “acting” nurturing and caring. I can compare this to real life situations because adults everyday battle demons and some worse than others, but no matter what when it comes to children, most more than others cant help but have a soft heart. This shows where the P.T.S.D comes in effect because the shock of loosing her own daughter and the bi-polar disorder from switching to one personality to…
