There are many tools that companies and businesses use to not only find their target market but also to find target locations to place their businesses. Part of figuring that out is to know the type of people that live in the area you are looking at putting the business. For example in Green Cove Springs Florida you are not going to find any high fashion or high end motor vehicle businesses like Rolls Royce or Mercedes Benz. What you will find is a lot of middle class and working class shopping centers as well as used car dealers. There is also a lot of big whole sale shopping centers and big saving places such as family mart and Wal-Mart. Those are the type of businesses that flourish in areas such as the one that I lived in last before coming to Thailand.

The first category that is used to explain the zip code I put in is bedrock America. The website explains that this category consists of families economically challenged living in small, isolated towns. Many of the people have very modest education, sprawling families and service jobs. These conditions of modest education, large families and isolated small towns make for a struggle for most of these families to make ends meet. One quarter lives in mobile homes and one in three have not graduated from high school. Rich in scenery bedrock America is great for hunting, fishing, hiking and camping. The second one on the list was big fish, small pond, this classifies the older, upper class and college educated leading citizen of their small towns who get to enjoy the benefits of being crème of the crop.
