Mrs. Hutchinson is a very intelligent, delicate, God fearing women. She was the type of women that didn’t mind speaking her heart about the word of God; neither did she alarm herself of her surrounding area. For the longest time men were they only ones to speak out freely and not be judged by their expressions. It was Mrs. Hutchinson whom felt the need to be heard. Religious leadership and power have been restricted to men, but Mrs. Hutchinson spoke the word of God with ease and confidence. In doing so she wanted all women to be able to stand up for themselves and be heard as did the men. She had claimed that a holy life was the definite way to get heaven and God already chosen his people. Attendance in church was not a requirement, but just faith in God and his beliefs. This also meant that they didn’t have to listen to the law of man. It was thought as being disrespectful to the government. If all peoples were to live by what Anne claimed, there would not be any law-abiding citizens. All those that were against Hutchinson, felt like, the state would be full of corruption if they followed and believed in her. During this time period it was unheard of for women to voice their opinions freely. Women mostly know as housewife and nothing more. Hutchinson believed that every person could ask and receive an answer from God if they would listen. She felt if she continued express her thoughts amongst other women, all women would become a challenge to all male supremacy. The government of
Massachusetts was so against her bright ideas.
The fact that Anne Hutchinson is a woman did not add any additional hostility in her religious persecution. But it didn’t happen to just the Quakers but anyone who differed in ideas of the puritans.
It is for this exact

Even though people knew that she was kicked out for something she believed in and that she was trying her hardest to prove her point, they wanted to be as determined as her. Hutchinson had gotten many people on her side to only believe in what the Bible said and that what the ministers taught was not what the religion meant. She believed that the ministers and priests were teaching the wrong facts of the religion and that she was going to change it, but when the government and churches heard about it they tried to shut her down very quickly. A short term effect was that in result the colony matured as a whole. The people who were with Hutchinson and believed in what she believed were obviously mad that they too got kicked out, but also relieved to know that they were somewhat free from the priests and ministers of the colony now because they were not living there so they can believe in what they think is right. Also the churches matured because now they know how to deal with a controversy like this and also they now know to be on the lookout for this. Hutchinson also played a role in inspiring the colony's women to become braver and more determined. Also when women heard about this, they were happy to know that someone of their own gender stepped up to be a leader and never backed down to the court, but also mad because some of their “friends” were kicked out for something that they believed…
