When their students fail, great teachers don’t blame the student, but rather reflect on themselves. I believe that this is the source of Morah Sack’s leadership.
The respect that people have her for her empowers her. This is a sense of total respect that she too gives to other people.
Her un-quavering belief that a student is more than his/her mark inspires her students to perform beyond their maximum potential. She gives of herself to every aspect of the school, especially the success and the wellbeing of her students. This inspires me because I can see that being a teacher means so much more to her than just educating someone with the set syllabus. It is not a job; it is a calling.
