Despite the language barrier, we still had an interesting and harmonious communication with him, and touched his inner world. Even though he is quite young, he had been working in Spain, the Netherlands, and U.S. for many years. He said, the headquarters in Spain gave me such an opportunity, in spite of the different cultural backgrounds, and difficulties in such aspects as daily life habits, I came to the island. Because I know, here I am not working alone, but backing up by our team collaboration. They are very willing to help me, reduced my burden a lot, which also make this challenging work attractive. In the initial stage of the project, we had a competitor, so we were under huge pressure at that time. But after repeated arguments and the technical support from Spain headquarters, ultimately forced back the opponent and rooted in Xizhong Island. In the summer of 2012, at a deadlock in negotiations with the partners, we jumped out of the restrictions of the confined thinking, considering from the overall situation and executing in details. After constant adjudgment, finally both parties reached a consensus, and promoted the progress of the project. Playing a coordinating role through this process, that is something on which to pride myself in life. The investment in Xizhong Island desalination project is in conformity to the overall development strategy of Spanish headquarters.
Changxing Island government's support and dedication to this project has made the partnership between each other beyond the customer relationship, so that various aspects of the work has become more harmonious and

The Victorian desalination plant (WDP) located in South Victoria off the coast line of Wonthaggi located has received much criticism. Many controversial and ethical issues have been expressed by various stakeholders. Despite these concerns, a decision has been made to go ahead with the multibillion dollar project and build Australia’s largest desalination plant.
