About the Food Environment Atlas and Data Download
The Food Environment Atlas contains over 211 indicators of the food environment that may influence the selection of healthy food choices such as accessibility to fresh produce, food assistance programs, health indicators, and general socioeconomic characteristics of communities. This information is collected regularly at state and county level by the United States Department of Agriculture, Economic Research Service.
