Shakespeare’s writing is realistic today in time. It is not like he wrote plays about fictional things and decided everyone would like it because it was fictional. He wrote plays about people and things that would happen to people personally or in a broad sense. Being realistic is a very important criteria which Shakespeare has done a good job on. I strongly believe each of his plays gives multiple themes since the audience can get taught a lesson or given advice varying on the character. For example, in Much Ado About Nothing, Don Pedro and Don John has a rival relationship which can give people either the advice not to deal with negativity, the lesson that not all siblings will always be united, or that not everyone will be filled with either forgiveness or remorse.
