To begin, one challenge for Ali was his religion. Ali was apart of Islam a religion of peace. Islam doesn’t approve terrorism or the killing of people. He joined the Black Muslim group of islam in 1964. Muhammad Ali spent 15 years as a Black Muslim. His mother raised him as a baptist although he converted to Islam, he still
carried on his belief in God. Another challenge was his stand for refusing to fight in the Vietnam War.
