Multi-agency working can be used as a strategy to reduce the risk of abuse. Multi agency working is when different agencies such as socials workers, doctors, carers would come together for different reasons to discuss the vulnerable adults case and what they could do to protect that particular individual, this reduces the risk of the individual being abused because the multi-agency approach makes sure that all the services that the vulnerable adult is using meeting the needs of that vulnerable adult.
