Purpose
To maximize Evidence Based Practices (EBD) in multi-systemic therapy in order to encourage each client/caregiver opinion toward a more optimistic view of the multi-systemic therapy process. “EBP implies that there is a definable outcome(s)” (Evidence-Based Practices, 2015). The goal is to get the client to take ownership in his/her behavior. EBP is to be used as a method for getting the client to shift gears and focus from a negative stance, to a more positive one in this process. “Preventing unnecessary out-of- home placement for youth with behavioral and emotional needs is the goal of several public child-serving services, including child welfare, juvenile justice, and child mental health” (Lee, et al., 2014) .
