ASSIGNMENT
I am doing an assignment on Care Support. In this assignment I hope to show that I have a good understanding of the role of the healthcare worker within the multidisciplinary team in the area of person centred care.
I also will show I understand the evaluation of the concept of enhanced quality care.
From what I have learned I hope to convey how I can apply my knowledge in a practical way to the patient and that I have total understanding of the role of the healthcare assistant.

It was considered that completing the training course would equip them with the knowledge to understand why particular tasks were undertaken. Comments from some co-ordinators, clinical assessors and teaching staff highlights their perception that education provided in this format will prepare trainees with relevant skills and theory. Health Care Assistants have a challenging, holistic role carry out when it comes to patient centred care. To me it is putting the patient/client no one in meeting all of their needs. This can be done when all members of the caring team play their parts in the common goal of patient care. For instance that both nurses/carer communicate adequately with themselves and their patient. Taking in the patient’s opinion on any given situation.
It is also trying your best to assist and promote independence in daily life to the extent the person is able. The patient/clients physical needs are paramount but their mental needs are also very important and should not be forgotten.
