First, Jay has been changing the story to where it doesn’t even make sense and doesn’t add up. Sure, it has been almost 17 years, but the story has been scrambled where no …show more content…
part makes sense. For example, he’s been interrogated three or so times, during those times he has changed the story to where people suspect it’s him who murdered Hae. Jay and Adnan weren’t really friends so Jay could be trying something to keep him in jail. For example Mr. Syed could be owing him money for weed and that’s why he’s trying to keep him in there. Another reason I say he has been changing stories is because in one of his interviews he said he got dropped off at his place then later says, his grandmother’s place.
Second, even though Asia wasn’t close with Adnan she can prove that he was at the library. She was able to prove this because she recalled talking to him at the library. This is helpful evidence because then this can show that he was in the library just like he claims. In her Affidavit she says, and I quote, “At around 2:30 p.m I saw Adnan Syed enter the library. Syed and I had a conversation.” This recall helps and proves Adnan because that means someone saw him enter the library.
This helps Adnan’s case in many ways because one, the murder happened right before 2:36 or around that time.
Adnan entered the library at around 2:30, sadly she left at around 2:40 but Adnan was still in the library at that time. With those time stamps it helps him prove that he didn’t do it. The time stamps help to say that he had no way to be in two places at once (because obviously there’s only one Adnan Syed).
Back to the conversation that Asia and Adnan had, she described that when they talked about his ex-girlfriend he seemed extremely calm and caring. If this is true then that means he didn’t put as much thought into it and was okay with the break up. There wasn’t a real reason to kill Hae, I mean there was no rage over it so why would he do it? Even family and friends are saying that he didn’t do it. I personally believe he didn’t do it and that Jay did. I mean why would someone admit to burying the body.
Last but not least another thing I personally believe that may be a possibility is that it was the other way around. Adnan probably helped bury the body and not kill her. This could be a possibility but even if it is, Adnan has served his time and deserves to be set free because in the end he did not do it. At the moment this is all the evidence I could
collect.
In my conclusion he is innocent, and I hope this was enough to convince you that he did not do it and that he is innocent. Thank you for taking the time to listen to my report I hope you have a good rest of the day and thank you.
