Murder On The Orient Express Character Analysis
Characters: Everyone was boarding the Orient Express. All of the characters are connected to each other in some way or another. There are many different characters. The main characters in the novel "Murder On The Orient Express" are Hercule Poirot, Mr. Ratchett, and The Armstrong family. Soon Hercule Poirot will become the detective on this murder investigation. Hercule Priort is a Belgian detective. A man named Ratchet, an American millionaire who fears for his life, is especially important because he was murdered on the Orient Express.There are many confusing clues, but he eventually discovers that all the passengers and a conductor are in some way connected to The Armstrong family.

Ratchet turns out to be a gangster known as Cassetti, who killed three members of the same family (the Armstrongs) and one of their employees. Just after midnight, a snowdrift stopped the Orient Express in its tracks. The luxurious train was surprisingly full for the time of the year. But by the morning there was one passenger fewer. A passenger lay dead in his compartment, stabbed a dozen times, his door locked from the inside.Poirot gave two explanations first, a mysterious figure who came aboard in shadow and left the same way - committing the crime in disguise. and the 2nd which implicated the other 12 who road the train car. He let the owner of the train and the others decided which explanation to give to the authorities upon their arrival. But the most likely was the 2nd which Poirot described in detail. All twelve of the characters who are in the train car are responsible for Rachet's death. The "loquacious" Mrs. Hubbard who orchestrates the gathering of the other 11 to avenge the death of her daughter & grand-daughter is the mastermind. It is alluded to in the comment by of a 12 person jury. The group of the other 11 included, amongst others: the sister, brother in law, the daughters governess, the cook, the godmother and two men who loved the maid who had taken the rap for the kidnapping of Daisy - her father and her sweet
