Music’s potential as a positive stimulus for the brain Music’s impact on society is undeniable; it has given people an identity, a
means to express themselves and has even shaped societies. However it’s power doesn’t end there. Music has been shown to act as a positive stimulus for the brain throughout different stages of life. In the past few decades, extensive research has been done to study the processes of the brain’s way to acquire music. More solid evidence has been found through the advancement of neuroscience and technology, being able to detect brain activity through MRI studies
