Muslim culture has many different cultural groups. Each culture has different traditions and customs. There are Asian, African, European, and American Muslims. There are over 2 billion Muslims all over the world. A Muslim should not be judged by what they believe in, if it’s different from other’s beliefs. People are created in the sight of Allah. They should also not be judged by what they choose to be or wear. Muslims are required to pray five times a day. Some even keep prayer mats in their cars to take out and pray on. There are many different etiquettes (manners) and traditions Muslims follow. They’re basically rules they have to do One, is saying God’s name before eating and drinking. It shows they have God’s blessing and that they are thankful for the food they are eating. They also must must their right hand for eating and drinking, not their left. And after someone sneezes they bless them. Then, every Muslim goes through a physical cleansing. Physical cleansing is part of the Prophet’s teachings. Muslims must trim their moustaches and remove hair from public areas, for example, under their armpits. Then, they clip their names. Unclipped nails shows that the person is wild and has an beastly appearance. Muslims must keep their nose, mouth, and teeth clean. They wash after using the bathroom also. Staying clean is part of the Prophet’s teachings. Alcoholic drinks and eating pork are not allowed. Muslims think drinking alcohol is bad and is not necessary. The ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar where Muslims stop eating and drinking fluids from dawn to sunset. Every year, Muslims make the Hajj which is a pilgrimage to Mecca.
