Discrimination of Muslim Women
“Muslim women are a fast-growing segment of the U.S. population that reflects the breadth of this country’s racial, ethnic, and multicultural heritage and includes U.S.-born Muslims of diverse ethnicities, immigrants from many countries and regions, and convert from various backgrounds.
Women who choose to dress modestly face more discrimination because the hijab declares them openly and the American people spit on that with so many amounts of disrespect.”(Women in hijab: discrimination against Muslim women). Many Muslim women practice hijab’ in accordance to their religious beliefs: these women may wear a headscarf and wear loose-fitting clothing when they are in public and the presence of men who are not a part of immediate family.Muslim women are given the equal rights like all of the people of the United States.There are numerous laws that protect Muslim women who wear the hijab. All though it is not right, they are prohibited from wearing their head coverings in a number of contexts. For example, they are harassed,fired from jobs, denied access to public places, and otherwise discriminated against because they wear the hijab. Muslim are in need of being able to actually be free to express their religion, choosing whether or not they want to wear a head covering without discrimination and prejudice.
There are plenty of reasons why Muslims in general are discriminated. Due to the recent conflicts between various muslims groups and the whole world, the Muslims who have no play in

those conflicts are isolated and fear of danger to their lives. “Muslim citizens of the United states face growing discrimination in daily life, manifesting itself in violence, vandalism and arson” a
