My Accomplishment
Throughout my life and educational career I have had many experiences and have accomplished many things. I am most proud of my accomplishment through my independence. After high school I moved to Hawaii to attend college. This was my first experience of being on my own. Through my experience of being independent I learned more about myself. From this experience I was able to understand who I was and realize what I truly wanted from my education. Before I became independent, I was unsure on what I wanted to do in my life. I was uncertain on what I wanted to major in when I went to college. From my independence I learned about my strengths and weaknesses. After finding my strengths and weaknesses I needed to accept them. This was a difficult
task. I wanted to be good at everything, but reality is you can not be perfect at everything. After I accepted my weaknesses I turned to my strengths. I realized I needed to decide where my strengths were. Surprisingly they were in my interest of business. I applied my strengths in my interest and love for business. I believe from learning about my strengths and weaknesses I came closer to understanding who I was and who I wanted to be. I became confident that I wanted to be a business major. I focused on my studies even harder in pursuit to be a business man. I also became more ambitious from my independence. I decided to learn as many languages I possibly can to further my dream of becoming an important international businessman. I am currently learning two other languages that I believe that will accomplish my goal. I have also become more comfortable with public speaking. I was originally a shy individual. I would detest public speaking situations. I have become far more confident in what I so. I have taken up many of leadership roles in many of my classes and study groups at the University of Hawaii. From my choice of becoming independent after high school, I have undergone a form of transformation. I have evolved from a conservative and uncertain individual into an ambitious and focused individual. I have learned through my independence what I want to become. I believe my evolution is my greatest accomplishment of my life and educational career. I am proud of this accomplishment.
