If I were to deny them this right, or treat them differently because of what makes them different, it would be an act of disrespect not only to this individual, but to all of the people who made sacrifices to give them the right to be who they are, and act of disrespect towards everyone who has worked to make this country a place where people are accepted.
It is my responsibility, and the responsibility of every American, to defend and respect the rights of all people, despite any differences between us, and to try to continue our country’s legacy. Together, with every person doing what they can where they are, we may reach the dream that was on the minds of brave men and women as they risked their

“The task that remains is to cope with our interdependence - to see ourselves reflected in every other human being and to respect and honor our differences.” The very last line of the most glorifying and enriching piece of writing I’ve ever laid eyes on, Warriors Don’t Cry, written by Melba Pattillo Beals on the struggle of integration of Central High School in Arkansas 1957. Reading about how students of color my age had to interact with people that had no sense of morality and ethics everyday, makes me think about the ethics that I pursue daily and how it may affect people who are around me.…

The hardest part about standing up for one’s rights is that everyone else may agree with the government’s prejudiced beliefs. Society is often guilty for persecuting entire races, sexes, and nationalities; it’s not just their leaders. Inequality is so common that it can be witnessed daily. I think about the responsibility to America a lot. And I think it is my job to help make this country better and great again. I also think it is my job to help protect this country to fight all the enemies who try to invade us by boat, plane, or any other way possible. There are a lot of people who perform their duties successfully and there are others who don’t do so good on performing their duties. Like myself as of others, I have to also pay for things I don’t like paying for but I do just so I can survive in my life and my career. If I dot pay for it, then I most likely wouldn’t have an education nor a job because jobs now days require education. And without that education you wouldn’t be able to do anything. The most unliked item I don’t like paying is taxes, but they are required to be paid or you lose your land, house, livestock if you have any, equipment if you have any, and possibly your own family. And losing your family would not be so fun because then you won’t have…
