My Brother Four Wheeler Accident Analysis
In life we all encounter events and different experiences but they are not memorable. There are some that remain in our minds forever. My little brother four wheeler accident is one of those days. This was a very disturbing and tragic day for me. This happened 10 years ago but I can remember it like it was just yesterday.
One weekend we both went to go visit our dad. It is not much to do where he lives because it is a rural area with nothing but land. We were bored with nothing to do on this particular day so we went to a racing track for four wheelers and dirt bikes. We went with our step-brother who enjoyed riding them. This had seemed to remove the boredom away from our day.
As we arrived it was filled with people everywhere with all types of bikes and ATVs. This seemed to be a day to sit back and enjoy. I and my brother were both watching the races together. I was so amazed with all of the different types of bikes. While watching the races I was alarmed by a big group of people who surrounded a scene. I got up and walked over to the scene to find out what was causing such chaos. It was my little brother who I thought was right beside me watching along with me. He was lying on the back of a pick-up truck

He made a sharp turn avoiding a car he was about to hit. The ATV rolled over and as it rolled over the handle bars injured my brother internally and cut his liver, which at the time we had no idea. The boy who was driving was in perfect condition. My dad arrived to the scene and we had to rush my brother to a hospital that was an hour away. In the car all I heard was the cries from my brother and my dad telling him that he was going to be ok. On our way to the hospital we got pulled over for speeding but the cop let us go because it was an emergency. The only thing I could think about is how I did not keep my eyes on my six year old

Last year, I went on a four wheeler ride in the woods near Rio. I went with Frenchy, Brandon,Kerzi and myself. We were on the trail and we saw a young buck. We slowed down and watched it run into the woods. Then we went to the mud to see who could get stuck first. Next we went and did a hill climb on a steep hill. Then we rode for a little bit more. After the ride our clothes were really dirty.…

Though there are good memories, most memories will fall under a more serious category. Life gets hard with the loss of people that would stay forever. Sometimes this leads to a fall down; just to find out only one person has the ability to pick me back up. “I forgot all their last names first and their/ first names last in alphabetical order” (535). This quote reminds me of loss in life. The loss of family and of close friends to things that are unchangeable. The things that do not really mean anything are most memorable. While saying this, do not take special memories for granted. Every person has a meaning and no matter where life leads, those special or tragic memories will be stored for later…

It was the middle of an away sophomore baseball game against DeWitt. My brother, Keegan, was up to bat. The pitch came, he swung and down he went. The baseball came off his bat and drilled him in the left eye. There was only one parent there, one of Keegan’s teammate’s dad. He drove Keegan to the hospital and called my parents. At the time, I was at a softball game working the scoreboard for the varsity West Delaware Hawks team. My mom called to tell me my grandma would pick me up when I was done and that her and my dad were on their way to the Iowa City hospital. My dad was at work at the time and met my mom there. They would explain more later. After they got down there and I got home with my sisters, I called my mom. She gave me an explanation…

I had a really terrible memory when I was young, which was about a car accident. In the summer of 1995, I was 7 years old at that time,I was playing with my friends in the garden which was near my house. Suddenly, a friend of mine started fighting with a big guy. I didn’t know what happen, I was too young and so scared, the only thing I thought was to find his parents to go for help. So a girl and I decided to run to his home. The little girl was in front of me when we were crossing the road, and we didn’t realize a car was coming. The driver saw the girl first, so he turned right to avoid hitting her, but he didn’t know that there was another child coming out.…

However, some events do seem to stick out in a sense that I am able to remember them with extreme detail even though they happened multiple years ago. One event that remains crisp in my mind is the day my youngest sister was airlifted in a helicopter to children's hours after she had been born. At the time I was only six, just old enough to know something was wrong but not old enough to completely grasp the scene before me. I can still see the doctors running up to the helicopter with my sister on her yellow cart being loaded into the helicopter, and the car ride following the copter to Little Rock. Even though the event many not be traumatic I still can remember with vivid detail what all went down that…

When I was four years old my parents bought me my first dirt bike. Riding dirt bikes has always been a part of my life. I started on a JR 50 and it’s a very small bike and after working my way up on bikes I'm now on a TTR 250. At first I was always scared to move on to a bigger bike, but I felt comfortable for the first time when I moved up to the TTR 250. Then a few years ago, I was outside riding my dirt bike and my family was watching me. I told them that I didn't need any gear on because I wasn't going to do anything dangerous and so I had no helmet on and no chest protector, I was only in a t-shirt and shorts. While I was on my bike I went to take off on a jump and when I did I hit my break right before I went off the jump because I had a moment of panic and hesitated. I was going too fast to stop right away, so I still went off the jump but landed sideways. Once I landed, the bike rolled three times and threw me off. I blacked out for a couple seconds and once I woke up, I was in so much pain and screaming for my…

Back in the 5th grade my friends and I played basketball. One night we had another basketball game but it was a couple hours after school was out. So the girls in my class that played and the boys that stayed after school to watch our game were all bored with nothing to do. For a while we walked around town played in the park, got some food from the gas station, and did whatever else we could find amusing at the time.…

When forming the memory, the brain stores what we see, smell, feel and taste, and fills the blank with all the knowledge and experiences that we go trough in life. Yet sometimes the brain experiences some events emotionally dramatic and abnormal that the brain pushes it away from the consciousness to the unconsciousness trying so hard to repress it and expectantly tries to hide it deep into the unconsciousness and therefore to be forgotten. However this repressed memories might emerge and come into sight even after years or even decades.(Wikipedia)…

Ever had that feeling of adrenaline rush through your body? It’s a wonderful sensation that most people are afraid of, but I live for it. Whether it’s riding fast on jet skis and being air born from the waves, diving off cliffs, or doing any other crazy thing I love that rush of adrenaline. I never realized how much of a dare-devil until July 7, 2006, the day I had my four-wheeler accident.…
