My Career Aspirations Recovered
My career aspirations
I plan to continue studying at CPIT to complete the Diploma in Hospitality Management at the end of 2015. From this point I see my life heading towards a career in the food and beverage industry in New Zealand and around the world. My ultimate goal is for a career in hospitality management that will allow me to travel to Melbourne, New York, London and many other places around the world. It is my intention to work in a variety of establishments to gain experience and knowledge that will allow me at some time in the future to open my own establishment. Another goal of mine is to work in places with a very important/famous and regular client base that expect the best possible service, building great relationships with these customers that will be useful then and in the future. I have a strong passion for bar and barista work, and love to learn about new cocktail recipes, together with tips and tricks for the perfect coffee. Once I have completed the diploma, the first step on my journey will be England, this will allow me to start my future development, and I would also be able to spend time with a large proportion of my family who live in different parts of England. I will look for a job in small classy cocktail bar and restaurant for the intimacy of the environment and the relationship you can build with costumers.
I have a real passion for the Hospitality Industry, which I want to combine with my excellent work ethic, personality and knowledge to create the best possible reputation for myself within the industry and with customers.
I thank you for your consideration of my application.

I would learn all aspects of running a successful club from being a bouncer, waiter, bartender, and manager. I would like to gain as much hands-on experience as possible while I am young and still in college; therefore, I will become a better manager because I have actually performed all of the different jobs within a bar. Not only am I majoring in Hospitality Management but also I am in the Army ROTC Program, and I plan on commissioning in the United States Army for thirty years or until I am eligible to retire. After my retirement, I plan to use my knowledge I gained in my HRTM classes and practiums to acquire a job in this rewarding field. I am interested in the food and beverage aspect of the industry. My ultimate goal is to own my business; moreover, I envision an establishment, The Outpost, geared to active military and veterans. The Outpost would offer a family friendly restaurant where active duty soldiers can bring their families to eat near their post and a bar to have a drink with friends. The military memorabilia and my promise to donate a percentage of the profits to Wounded Warrior Project will attract veterans. The operation of a bar is very interesting as well as the challenges of advertising and catering to the needs of the patrons and keeping the bar relevant. My practicum at White’s Restaurant and my future practicum at a local bar in…

To begin with, this part will lay out career goals and the potential opportunities in the marketplace at the moment. Firstly, the most important thing I have to do is that to position myself before setting the future goals. As the matter of fact, I just have begun the tertiary education (Master of international hospitality management) and had no experience in the hospitality industry. Thus, the nearest object should be successful graduated from the master course. King (2011, p.21) states interestingly that if we are standing at the top of corporate ladder at the world prominent firms, a master degree could be not necessary, but if not, the master degree is a very good idea for those who desire to climb into the top positions. Ideally, as another part of my career goals is that the capacity for working as a middle manager at a renowned corporation within six months after graduation and then up to general manager of F&B department after two years. Moreover, the further aim is probably to own and manage a French restaurant by myself in the next three years. Obviously, in the hospitality area there is a variety of different chances in a huge of the professional position ranges globally. It refers that the career potential of this industry is unlimited and even growing rapidly. Hsu (2015, p.197) claims that the last decade indicated that a particular milestone for tourism industry with the rapid growth by 38 percent (from 686 million to 946 million) of international tourist arrivals generally over the world and in Asia Pacific region in particular. am considering a major in biology with a concentration in Molecular Biology because of my interest in research. In the past year and a half I have worked continuously at a laboratory, first at University of Massachusetts Medical School and then at Cornell. At UMass, I became interested in molecular biology because of the work I was doing with the maturation of B-lymphocytes. Because of the educational atmosphere of UMass, I became very involved with the graduate students and was on the cutting edge of research. Everyday I spent at that lab I was contributing to a major breakthrough in the understanding of B-cells. That, to me, what the most exciting environment I could be in. At that point I decided that I wanted to study molecular biology. My interest in molecular biology has been enhanced by my work at Cornell on an edible vaccine for Hepatitis B out of plant tissue. I am also very interested in animals and have considered being a veterinarian for a long time. I was also directed towards biology for that reason.…
