My Depression Dinner Project

For My Depression Dinner Project I made a potato bowl which is a baked potato with cheese, turkey bacon, and sour cream over top of it. On the side I had raw carrots and my dessert was part of a banana. To make sure I didn’t go over budget I used water for my drink instead milk. I made a potato bowl because I knew that it would be a nutritious, filling, and cheap meal. I think the biggest problem of the project was the buying part. I had to make sure everything I bought would be under $3.50. When I was preparing the meal I realized I had made a mistake in my calculations. I had $0.43 left to spend because of this error. I ended up wishing that I had bought a banana for everyone instead of one person only having a third of a banana. Other than
