My dream room
Have you ever thought about what your dream room would be like? I know I have. I always pictured my room to be kind of like Batman’s lair, my secret man cave, where I could do things on my own terms. It would be a place where I wouldn’t have to act a certain way for people. It would have a gigantic closet that would be pretty much as big as the room itself. My room would not only be a room where I slept, it would be my sanctuary, my haven. I always imagined my room to be a warm genial place, but also seem sort of mysterious. Inviting, yet also foreboding. After a long day of school, I could just go walk into my glowing yellow, and black blue room, and be alone for a while, a place where I could feel like I just melted away with the surroundings. When I walked in, I would be transported to a different place, a place where I could feel at ease. I could play and act childish if I wanted, no one could see me. I could run around with my blanket, and pretend I was a super hero, or I could go jump on my bed until I fell down exhausted, panting and sweaty. Then do it all over again. I could sit at my oak wood work desk, and do my homework quietly, or go play with my Legos. After I finished, I could go lie down on my bright green bed, grab a snack out of one of the many secret cubby holes, and simply, sleep. Other than my bedroom, I would also have a humungous closet, as big as my bedroom where I could hide all my stuff. My closet would have many little hatches in the ground, randomly spaced, to put valuable things in. For fun, I could hide in the hatches myself, and feel like a little boy again. I could disappear and scare my mother, just like I did when I was five. My closet would also have a pullout bed on the wall, if a guest came. The most special of all, the closet would have a grand bathroom. A sterling white marble restroom, with a shower and two sinks. My closet would be a safe house for me. Just like my bedroom. My room would not only be a place where I

Do you ever wonder why certain places mean so much to certain people? When I think of my bedroom, I realize why some people are so crazy about locking their doors and not letting anyone inside it and touch their stuff. My bedroom is the place where I can sit back and relax. It is the only place where I can get away from the world, away from the stressing college student life; a place away from work and rude customers, that even though no matter how nice you are to them, there’s always someone that finds the way to bring your mood down. A place when I can have my own privacy and be as comfortable as I want. Also, my room is where I keep my personal belongings and the things that are important to me and do not want anyone else to touch.…

Do you ever wonder why certain places mean so much to certain people? When I think of my bedroom, I realize why some people are touchy about who goes in their room or who has been touching things in their home, it is because those things are important to them and may have some meaning. Places like my bedroom are places where we can relax and be comfortable and I think that is why it is important to people, because we can be ourselves and feel comfortable, we can also just sit down and rest our bones and relax. Another important reason is we can go there when we want privacy, we can just shut our door, maybe even lock it, and tell everyone in our household not to bother us. Also our rooms hold most of our personal belongings and those things are important to us and we do not want anyone else to touch them or in some cases go near them.…

Everyone has a room they tend to stay in more than others. That room may be painted in your favorite color, It could have been a older sibling's room, or may have your favorite game system in it. My favorite room makes me feel as though no one can touch me while I am in there. The room is a very calming place to be when I am stressed and have a lot on my mind. Now that I am in college my room is even more special since I have to share the one I am in. Being in college even makes me appreciate it more to because I can't do some things like play my radio or the television too loud because sometimes I don't know if he is trying to sleep, on the phone, or studying. Most of all, my favorite room in my house is my bedroom because of the privacy I get, it is where I get the best sleep, and it is where my friends and I hang out when they come over.…
